Oakwood Creative Care (OCC) specializes in Dementia Care and supporting folks who may need a little support.  Our clubs are designed to help family's care for their loved ones at home, but offer a solution so that you can work, get things done, and have piece of mind!  Caring for someone with Alzhiemer's is a 24/7 job and often times the only option availible is a costly assisted living program, in home care, or just boredom/isolation.  That is why we are here!

OCC Clubs (known through the industry as an adult day health programs) are radically changing the way care is provided bringing back dignity, joy, and utlizing the arts as a way of self expression.  It is not uncommon to have regular interaction with children, babies, dogs, plants, and even a certified therapy pig.  No more bingo, tv watching, scrubs, and silly sing-a-longs.

We believe that a diagnosis does not define your life and that there is treatment beyond a pill.

We believe aging shouldn't stop someone from having purpose, meaning, and a place to belong.

Our Day Clubs are licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services as Adult Day Health Programs.

"I'll never forget the first time we came to tour Oakwood, once we got to the car Alex said,

I really like that place, when do I get to go back".

"OCC has given Chris purpose. It has dignified him. There are so many joy factors when it comes to Oakwood  that it is a sense of enhancement, acceptance, joy. He gets to practice everything that he loves everyday.

Our life without Oakwood wouldn't be the same. We are forever grateful."

-Bebe (married to Chris for over 43 years)

"When you love your wife as much as I do mine, you want to find a place that treats your loved one like family.

That's why I choose Oakwood."
