There’s so much happening this year at Camp Oakwood! Your children will get to explore art, music, storytelling, and fun surprises along the way! When I say so much more, I’m not just talking about a fun summer experience, but the life lessons they will learn along the way.

You see Intergenerational programming has a wonderful impact on our community. For example, children will bond with their peers but also learn how to talk to and bond with older adults or  “Grandfriends” as we call them at Oakwood. They will also learn how to share and be a good buddy. They will learn acceptance and understanding for people with disabilities. For our elderly, it’s an opportunity to escape social isolation and it shows them they do have value and a purpose by helping our “Little Friends”. Plus they just smile ear to ear when kids are around…it’s definitely a Grandfriend thing!

So sign up today! Sessions are free for magic moments that will last a lifetime.
