Dementia Experience: A Hands On Experiential Training

The Dementia Experience is a physical simulation of what it might feel like to step into the shoes of a person living with dementia. This innovative experience is designed to help families, care partners, and professionals gain insight and a deeper understanding to some of the physical and mental difficulties that people with dementia encounter every day. With a personal understanding of how living with dementia can feel, loved ones and professionals are able to provide better care and achieve more favorable results. Come prepared to live for a few mins like you have dementia, and then learn techniques to help navigate supporting someone with dementia.
