NonProfit Day Center For Seniors
Discover The Difference A Day Can Make
Are you or a loved one facing the challenges of Alzheimers, dementia, Parkinsons, or suffered a stroke? We are here to help.
As always, the health and safety of our members remains our #1 priority. Their need for care and engagement continues during this pandemic. We’ve enhanced all protocols to include new ways for our members to safely continue experiencing joy – while practicing the recommended Covid-19 guidelines.
03/29/21 Update: We remain hyper-vigilant as we continue our successful mitigation strategies. Regardless of changes to emergency orders, we’ll abide by the guidance of our infectious disease expert, the CDC, and the Arizona Department of Health Services.
Life is not over because of a diagnosis of Alzheimers, Dementia, Parkinsons, or Stroke. Oakwood provides dignity and purpose beyond a diagnosis.
By joining one of our day clubs or subscribing to “Engage at Home”, our members keep their neurons firing – slowing down disease progression and making the most out of the life still left to live!
Our mission is to enhance the quality of life and spark joy for older adults with cognitive or physical challenges.
To our members and their families, we’re so much more than a “day club for seniors”. We’ve revolutionized the standard methods of caring for Alzheimer’s Disease, Dementia, and Age-Related Issues.
Our holistic approach focuses on the entire person, engaging our members’ hearts, minds, and bodies through various forms of exercise, dance, music, art, and cognitive therapies. Additionally, we help caregivers and families to navigate the difficulties that arise when caring for an aging loved one.
