Memory Cafe: Where Support & Engagement Meet

The Memory Cafe is a collective effort brought to the community through a partnership with the Mesa Chamber of Commerce and the Dementia Friendly Task Force. The Task Force is made up of community members interested in expanding access to support and services for those in Mesa and the surrounding community who are caring for someone with dementia or are living with dementia themselves.

All family caregivers and persons living with dementia are invited to join us at the Mesa Memory Cafe to experience a fun morning all about socializing and finding support. Come and enjoy a cup of coffee and delicious pastries while you connect with new friends, community experts, and professionals who share in your journey. Then, after some much-needed coffee talk, join us for an hour for a family caregiver support group and a dementia-friendly engagement class.

The Dementia Task Force comprises an amazing team from the following organizations:

We're a nonprofit organization based in Mesa, Arizona with three senior day club locations (and a fourth on the way) which serve older adults with Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, and various other physical or cognitive challenges. Life does not end with a diagnosis. Our members continue to learn new skills, enjoy new discoveries, make friends, laugh, and live a joy-filled life. Our team of dementia experts lead support groups, events, classes, and private sessions with caregivers and families, guiding them on the best methods to care for their loved ones while also caring for themselves.
